First, I want to thank all of you for this past year. 2018, I started this little business of mine because I have always loved to decorate, I love floral design & I love to make people happy with my work. Honestly when I started, I never would have thought it would take-off as fast as it has and I have been blown away and so beyond blessed! I want to thank Scott and Amber Byrum, without them I never would have made it this far. Im sure that some of you know when starting a business, there are so so many things that you are required to do, I had no clue where to even start. Scott and Amber took me helped me every step of the way. Without they’re guidance, I couldn’t have this off of the ground. Amber once told me "Tiffany, think of this as brand new baby, you have to feed nurture it and take raise it up." So thank you, thank you for your constant encouragement and support. I love you both! I also would like to thank my family. My parents, my grandparents, my brother, my sister, and my Aunt Holly. Whether it be helping me with my kids, dragging box after box to and from place to place, doing whatever I need when I need it. They have been there. Lastly I want to thank my Uncle Scott. I’m just going to come right out and say it, he has spoiled me my whole entire life. Most importantly he has always believed in me and pushed me to chase my dreams. Without him, this business would not be possible.

Now on a lighter note, Lets get to it. The past year I have came into contact with some of the most amazing and talented vendors. I realize that I am a tiny grain of sand in this world and honestly, my opinion is nothing special but I 100% believe in supporting small businesses and I want to promote and get their name out there. I also want to throw out there that I’m not trying to make this some boring list, I may throw in some funny stories, & experiences.

WEDDING CAKES

Cakes, cakes cakes…whewwww this has been something I have struggled with big time in my life. I have had some of the worst cake disasters in my lifetime. My sons 1st Birthday party cake was a complete disaster, I had to have Walmart make a brand new on 30 minutes before his party. No joke. Moving on to my baby shower cake, boy was that a joke. It was so bad. I cried. My Grandparents 50th wedding anniversary cake…I’m not even going to talk about that one. Long story short when it comes to cakes for any event I have a curse. When I started this business, one of the #1 questions my clients would ask. Who should I get to do my wedding cake? My answer? “I’m sorry I don’t know.” I was honestly so scared to recommend anyone to a bride, I mean you wedding cake is a main focal point of a wedding reception, when you look back at wedding photos 10 years down the road 9 times out 10 the picture you will look at will be you, your spouse and your wedding cake. I mean…no pressure cake ladies, but when you commit to do someone wedding cake, that is a huge commitment. Naturally, was super nervous and careful about who I would suggest, I mean what if I suggested a person, it went south and you weren’t happy, who would that ultimately fall back on? That’d be me, the wedding planner. So I’m telling yall that I have thought long and super hard about this went back and forth on my choosing. I ended up choosing two super sweet ladies that I have grown to know well over the past year & I’m 100% confident that they will do the very best job that they know how they are both super talented. I wear lot and lots of hats, but cake artistry is not one of them. I can make it taste good but look good? That’d be no. These two women not only will make it not only taste divine, but it will look absolutely perfect as well. They stand behind their work and will do whatever it takes to make you happy. Katie Hicks owns White Flour Cakery, she is from Ider ,AL. She is wonderfully talented and such an all around sweet person. I often tell people she is the one who broke my cake didaster curse. I was looking for someone to make my moms 40th birthday cake, I was scared to death, just thinking about looking for the right person…then along came Katie and made the yummiest cake ever. I was hooked! Thank you Katie. Second awesome cake lady on my list is none other than my sweet friend Jennifer Shrader with “Weekend Creations”. Let me just tell yall this wife and mama of 4 is a rockstar, and she can not only make the most amazing and beautiful cakes, she makes some other killer desserts as well! She is such a hard worker and it shows. Hats off to Jennifer because she can “make it happen” & “do all the things”. These are mine and Ambers favorite quotes that we love to say. (haha). Below I am going to put their contact information. Call them for your perfect day!

Photography

I will say that the photography portion of this was not hard for me at all. When you know you just know. Ya know? (See what I did there? Haha) Now let me first say that I know lots of photographers & have a lot of friends that are photographers & they are all very wonderful. These lovely ladies are just women that I have worked with very closely on wedding days and have been so pleased and had wonderful experiences with as a planner and coordinator. They are true professionals and are amazing at what they do. Kayla Leanne Edwards owner of “Kayla Leanne Photography” is first up on my list. Her and I have had mutual friends for years but we actually became familiar with each other when my cousin Hannah got married and let me just tell you, she blew me away! The level of organization and professionalism was perfect. Let me just tell yall she had her stuff together! I you have never seen her work you need to hop over to her social media accounts and just taje a look at her work. Worth every penny. Wedding photography is an investment and I can honestly tell you that you get what you pay for! Next up my list is Kayla Wilson with “KC Photography” Let me just say this girl is so much fun to work with! We done Courtney and Jonathan Forshee’s wedding together and we had such a good time. She instantly makes you comfortable and brings a good vibe into the room and that sort of personality goes a long way when you in the photography business. Her photos are perfect and she is just all around a great choice in my opinion. Below is their information!

VENUE'S

I had a hard time with this category. There are no “best” venue or #1 venue’s for me. It all just depends on what look your going for. I almost didn’t even do this category. Every venue is unique and perfect in it's own way. Weather it be perfect for you budget, perfect location for your family and friends, perfect because its exactly what you pictured on your wedding day. Every bride and groom have specific needs & its really just all about what fits for them. Below im listing a couple of venue’s that I have done weddings at and was very pleased with my experience there.

DJ, Catering & personalized décor

These are just a few randoms that i decided throw in. Jay Lea owns"D'Jays sound and light Production." I done a wedding with him back in the summer and he was by far my favorite DJ so far. Call him for a good time! (haha) Next up, is Kacy Wooten with "Kacy's Catering." Kacy and I are cousins and Best Friends, but seriously, im not being partial at all here, her cooking skills are unreal! We both grew up watching our mamas in the kitchen and have been cooking for many many years. the only difference is that Kacy likes to cook and I would rather stick my hand in hot ashes. Most of her recipes are family and friend recipe's with her own touch added. Best of the best and I am so excited to watch her business grow! Lastly, my sweet friend Courtney Cooper with "Sweet Southern Signs" Her and I started our friendship based on our love of kids clothes. Most of you that know me know that I have a ridiculous obsession for kids fashion. Her and I have sent each other goodies and passed things back and fourth, we have encouraged each other through the last couple of years and vented to one another and she is just so sweet, not ti mention her amazing talent, she has some of the prettiest personalized home decor, she is so so creative and has done several projects for me and I, as well as my clients have loved her work.
